Absolutely not. I will never sell or share your information with anyone. I do add clients to my email distribution list, but you are always welcome to opt-out.

Do you share my contact information?

Simply, pick up the phone and call me at 847-707-9227.  We'll chat and you'll tell me all about what makes your family awesome.  We'll brainstorm a bit about how your session might go. And I'll give you a range for what you might be looking to spend.  The session fee is due upon booking.

What's required to book a session?

We find that most families find that they can get plenty of gorgeous artwork, frames, and the digital images from anywhere between $900 - $9500. Keep in mind, that not everyone is the same, so some spend more, some spend less. The upper bound is for large statement art pieces and show-stopping albums.

How much of an investment do most families make?

YES!  Digital images are available with every print purchased.

Can I get digital images?

I typically schedule sessions a few weeks out. October books up quickly. The ordering session is scheduled one to two weeks after the session. Your completed order is typically ready about a month after ordering (slightly more during peak times). Priority service is available for an additional fee.

What’s a typical timeframe for a session?

Digital images can be shared online and on social media and printed up to an 8x10 in size. Larger images require master artist retouching. And print quality differences become apparent at larger sizes. Large images look amazing in homes, so it’s best to leave the printing to us. I bet you’re like me in that you want your images to look their absolute best, and to last a lifetime.

What can I do with digital images?

About a week or two after your session, you will come to my studio for your ordering session. I’ll present your images in a gorgeous slideshow. At this time, we'll work together to select the very best ones. I'll help you create wall layouts and how best to display your artwork. All orders will be placed at this time, so it's important to get a sitter and bring all the decision makers.

How do I place my order?

Wherever you want! My studio is located in Palatine. I’m happy to come to your home, too. We can also meet at an outdoor space. I know of many great spots in Palatine, Arlington Heights, Schaumburg, Long Grove, Barrington, Inverness and more. And, we're always up for a new location if you have someplace in mind.

Where will the session take place?

If the weather is not cooperating, you'll have the option to move your session to our studio, or to pick a new date. If you or your child is ill, we will reschedule.  If you need to reschedule your session for other reasons inside of 10 days, there will be a $75 fee to confirm a new date.

If an ordering session needs to be rescheduled more than 3 days beyond the original date, a $50 fee will apply. These fees are necessary to keep everyone's orders on track.   Rescheduling in peak times will cause delays in turnaround times of digital images and printed artwork.

What if I need to reschedule?

All good things are worth the wait. Please allow one month (or slightly longer during peak times)  from when payment is received for the completion of your retouched images and printed artwork.  Fine art albums, canvases, and frames will take a little bit longer.  You'll get a text or email when your artwork is ready to be picked up. Shipping and rush order services are available for an additional fee.

When will I get my amazing artwork?

When you purchase a photographic print, you are purchasing that print and the right to display it. You are not purchasing the copyright or the right to reproduce it in any way. Scanning it and making copies is a violation of federal copyright law and carries stiff penalties. Plus, scanned copies look bad. Please respect my livelihood by honoring the copyright rules.

Once I purchase a print, is it okay to scan it and make copies?

The Professional Photographers of America awards this certification to individuals who pass a technical written exam and an image review.
