Let’s just say, it went quickly. We are so proud of the person she has become.
I was excited for her session, as I wanted to take her to some of my favorite locations around town. Making portraits is more than just photographing a person in a location. Part of what I love is to make sure that the outfits and backgrounds compliment each other. I love how this blue-gray looks against her skin, and how it works so well against the chain link fence. And the warm and cool tones of her skirt bring together the warmth of the brick.
Her black top was perfect for the patch of leggy flowers. And her jeans and orange top give a pop of color to the limestone column and work with the surrounding landscape.
Most everything we picked out came from drygoodsusa.com. They have a great selection on on-trend, yet still timeless. I was just in there this weekend, and they had a ton of cute dresses and sweaters that would be great for a senior (or family) session.
